Peer to Peer Training
Effective Communication Skills for Young People
(OCN 1 / 2)

This training is designed specifically for young people aged 16 to 18 years old.

The training is designed to develop communication skills and give young people the confidence and skills to set up and run a peer listening service within their organisation or school.

The course is 15-hour s long and is OCN accredited at both level one and level two.

This course is funded by Fframwaith and is free of charge to organisations intending to set up a Peer to Peer listening service.

E3 Peer to Peer Training for Young People

E3 Coordinators can book the peer to peer course as a stand alone qualification for young people aged 14+ to be delivered as part of the E3 timetable. The course carries a cost if delivered as a stand alone qualification.
Eye to Eye is a registered organisation with RCT for school E3 delivery.

Training For Adults

Training in Working with Young People

This is a 60 hour course, which is delivered twice a year by Eye to Eye trainers. It can be OCN accredited or delivered as a non-accredited course. It provides additional training for those who work directly with young people in a range of settings. Its aim is to increase the effectiveness of support for young people by developing the relationship and communication skills of those who work with them.

For Schools and Organisations

Eye to Eye trainers can offer a range of short counselling and communication courses to suit the needs of most organisations and schools.

These can be delivered to adults or young people

We offer training on issues such as

Working with Suicide issues
Bereavement
Basic listening/ counselling skills
Anger Management
